Ronald F. Brot’s Column Published in the Daily Journal
Ronald F. Brot’s column “LACBA Stands Strong in the Face of the Pandemic” was published in the Daily Journal on Monday, April 13th. In the piece, Brot discusses his experience and expectations as LACBA president since he took on the role in June 2019. He goes on to explain how LACBA has overcome the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The strength of LACBA is and always will be its members. In this time of crisis, LACBA remained firm in the resolution to continue as a source of information, assistance, unity and inspiration for its members and the entire community,” said Brot. He continues by saying, “Even under these trying circumstances, LACBA was determined to provide a virtual home where members would continue to find and grow personal relationships, enhance professional relationships, and establish business relationships. Similarly, LACBA was undaunted in the resolve to continue to serve its members, to assist the courts, and to provide legal services to the public through the Counsel for Justice legal services projects and otherwise.”
Brot ended the article on a hopeful note, assuring that LACBA will continue to serve the community during this difficult time.
“Through it all, the Los Angeles County Bar Association will continue to connect us to one another, to serve the legal community and the courts, and to benefit all who live and work in the county of Los Angeles.”
