Ronald F. Brot was recently quoted in Bob Chiarito’s AFP News article “Custody and the coronavirus: parents denying visitation rights.” The article discusses the impact that COVID-19 has had on divorced parents and their custody agreements. Brot commented on parents who ignore child visitation agreements, saying that they could be playing with fire.
“So we have parents seeking this edge or advantage that in all likelihood has very little concern for COVID-19 on an objective basis…Who’s to say that one parent’s home puts the child more at risk than the other parent’s home?”
