Rebuttal of Family Code 3044: Mark Gross Presents at Los Angeles Country Bar Association’s 41st Annual Child Custody Colloquium
On October 26, Partner Mark P. Gross presented alongside The Honorable Lawrence Riff, AlyceLaViolette, LCSW and Debra S. Frank, CFLS at the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s (LACBA) 41st annual Child Custody Colloquium. The panel discussed the evidence to be presented to rebut the presumption against joint custody pursuant to Family Code Section 3044 where there has been domestic violence.
The 2019 Child Custody Colloquium addressed the all-important issues in the family lawfield – domestic violence presumptions, children as witnesses, parental addiction, cultural and religious differences and special needs children.
